............In april 1934 werd er begonnen met een aanbestedingsprocedure voor de bouw van het clubgebouw ...............
Tijdens de buitengewone algemene ledenvergadering in juli 1933 werd unaniem besloten tot de aankoop van een stuk grond gelegen aan de Reeweg even voorbij het Sportpark. Het zou voornamelijk zijn bedoeld voor de jeugd van D.F.C. welke in aantal een enorme groeispurt had gemaakt. Er waren slechts 2 velden beschikbaar die voornamelijk door de 6 senior-elftallen werden gebruikt. Op 31 Juli 1933 wisselde dit stuk grond dan ook (3.19.10 H.A.) van eigenaar, van de erven Beelaerts van Blokland naar de Dordrechtsche Footballclub "D.F.C.". In april 1933 werd er begonnen met een aanbestedingsprocedure voor de bouw van het clubgebouw welk door de architect A. Boers ontworpen was. Uiteindelijk werd het gebouwd door NV Aann.Mij.Groeneveld. De Dordrechtsche Asfaltfabriek leverde de dakbedekking, en het lijkt er op deze afbeelding sterk op, dat men met het aanbrengen van de dakbedekking begonnen is. Door het bouwwerk heen zie je op de achtergrong o.a. de contouren van de Groen van Prinstererschool aan de Standhasenstraat en de woningen aan de Leerambachtstraat. Na het gereedkomen van dit sportcomplex hadden de jonkies niets te klagen. Drie voetbalvelden, een permanent trainingsterrein, sprintbanen, springbak en een clubgebouw. De opening was op zaterdag 8 september 1934 en er werden die dag 2 lintjes geknipt. De eerste door wethouder Van Huiden, voorzitter van de commissie van donateurs en vrienden der D.F.C. (552_100184) bij het aanbieden van het clubgebouw en het tweede lintje door burgemeester de Gaay Fortman (555_18329,555_18328), wat de toegang vrij maakte naar de terreinen.
